Around 3:30 pm, the event will be over with the departure of the newlywed!

How we met
His Story
Lots of people ask how we met, so here’s the story!
In June of 2025, I was working as a secondary bus driver, taking a group of Amish from New York and Pennsylvania to Hartville, Missouri, for a week. During that trip, instead of spending my downtime in a hotel, I went to visit an old friend in Versailles, Missouri.
On Sunday morning, my friend, his wife, and I were talking when, somewhere along the way, my friend jokingly suggested it might be time for me to find a wife. I laughed and asked if there were any single ladies at their church. Turns out… There were.
That morning at church, my friend’s wife very helpfully pointed out who the single lady was.
Fast forward to September. I worked up the courage to message her and ask her out for coffee. (The message may have included a few more details than just coffee 😉.) She said yes, and that simple coffee date turned into the beginning of our story.
And that’s how it all started.
Fast forward to
In January
One question was asked… and the answer was YES.
What started with a little uncertainty, taking a chance on an unfamiliar guy, turned into something neither of us expected, but both of us are incredibly grateful for. Through the doubts, the nerves, and the leap of faith, we found happiness, love, and a deep sense of peace in choosing each other. We’re excited, thankful, and looking forward to forever. We know marriage isn’t just about the big moments, but about choosing one another every day, and that’s exactly what we plan to do.
Thank you to our family and friends for your love, support, and encouragement along the way. We’re so grateful to share this next chapter with all of you.
The proposal
In January of 2026, I had a plan.
Before our dinner date, I made a quick stop at Walmart to pick up flowers and a box of Reese’s chocolates because romance comes in many forms. I hid them behind a tree along a pathway at our local village park, hoping everything would still be there when the moment came. After dinner, I casually suggested we spend a little more time together and take a walk through the park. She had no idea what was coming.
As we walked, I suddenly pulled her off the path and behind the tree, probably confusing her just a little, grabbed the flowers and chocolates, took a deep breath, and asked:
“Tiffany, will you marry me?”
She said YES.
Simple, unexpected, and perfect just like us.
